John Muchovej
Computational cognitive scientist and educator.
I'm a PhD student advised by Julián Jara-Ettinger in the Computational Social Cognition Lab .
My research interests are primarily in multi-agent systems and agent representation, asking questions like:
- How can we bridge the representation gap between our best computational models of social cognition and the representation(s) that humans carry?
- How do we do social cognition over people we've never encountered? How is that social cognition made easier, the more you know someone?
- Do we build agent-specific models for social cognition? If so, what does that look like?
I use tools from computer science and artificial intelligence to study these questions in humans through behavioral experiments.
